365 Days of De-Cluttering: Day 142

This post is for Thursday. Yesterday I gave 2 DVDs and a book back to my neighbor. They lent them to us a long, long time ago. It's about time I returned them.

365 Days of De-Cluttering: Day 141

This post is for Wednesday. I'm donating a chemistry set called Sweet Science Lab to either the women's shelter or Goodwill. Haven't decided yet. It is still sealed in its original packaging. I would sell it but it is 12 years old and I'm not sure that the chemicals in it are still good.

365 Days of De-Cluttering: Day 140

I've recently moved into the den where I'm sure I will find lots of stuff to get rid of. That's where all the magazines that I recycled over the weekend came from (the coffee table). Today I've moved to the cabinets under the book shelves. Lots of games and junk under there. For today, I've chosen 3 video tapes to go in the trash. They were old Lotus video magazines? I never watched them. I think I was saving them to record over but we don't use video tapes any more so I don't think I'll need them. There were also lots of videos of the horses. I'll keep them and hopefully get them transferred to computer some day. I also recycled some old cards and papers that I found down there.

365 Days of De-Cluttering: Day 139

This post should catch me up. How about 2 years of Dressage Today magazines in the recycle bin. I think that's all the magazines for a while until I get down to Lawrence's office where there are many, many more magazines that need to be disposed of.

For Sunday, I chose a years worth of Smithsonian magazines to put in the recycle bin.

365 Days of De-Cluttering: Day 137

I'm a little behind. Been really busy with the garden and stuff but am back on track today. For Saturday (day 137) I am sending several years of Scientific American to the recycler. Lawrence will ask one of his co-workers who has teenage, nerdy kids if they want them but the will probably end up recycled.

I've finally decided that a hard cover book that I won as a door prize can go to the library as well. I was going to try and sell it on half.com but they aren't selling for enough to make it worthwhile.
