My daughter actually liked this one and says she will wear it. It feels good to actually make something that she didn't think looked weird. I'll have to make some more to give away. They are really quick to make. The doubled thread makes the joins easier and less messy. I did make a few modifications because I didn't have enough yarn. The scarf is not doubled and only 3 strips wide instead of 4.

Nice set! Did you have any trouble connecting the two pieces together at the "seam?" Can you tell me where you got the directions for the hat? I made three hats and didn't like the connections to make it round. I am sticking to neck scarves and baby blankets and shawls now. You can write to me at redapple4you@yahoo.com
